Caravan Puerh has a wonderful puerh aroma which is an earthy aroma combined with a black tea aroma. Its taste is a very earthy puerh taste combined with a mellow black tea taste. The black tea astringency is in the background. Caravan Puerh has been aged for 3 years.
Research indicates that puerh potentially has many health benefits. Its mellow, earthy flavor gets better with age. The aging of puerh is similar to that of wine and cheese in that they all get better with age. The resulting earthy, musty character sets the tea apart from its younger competitors.
